Inspiring does not even come close to Scott’s presentation. As VP of Advancement and
Development for Park Place and Providence Life Systems, we were surprised to hear that as a
young person he became friends with a woman in a facility that was less than acceptable. His
father was also moved to make life better for seniors in their town. Thus started his
professional path in life. Scott talked about his love of his Christian faith and how he has
benefitted from his association with the various members of the Rotary.
In the end he had a video of a 59 Studebaker truck which had seen better days. A television
crew came to his home and over a couple of weeks they completely did over the truck in true
Studebaker style. Scott is a member of the original Studebaker family.
